We went to Cannon Beach with Aaron and Becky last weekend. We had SO much fun! It was so relaxing ... well, as relaxing as it can be with two little ones running around! After the kids would go to sleep at night, we would all kind of look around and take a deep breathe. We had so much fun and Brett loves Ashlyn! For the next couple of days when he woke up, he asked for "Ash."
Brett had his 15 month check up on Friday. He did great!
His stats were: Height - 75th percentile, Weight - 60th percentile, Head circumference 75th percentile. He hasn't gained much weight in the the last 10 months or so!
When we were cleaning out the trailer for camping, we found some diapers from last summer. They were the SAME size he wears now! We love Brett's pediatrician and Brett even showed her that he could say her name! He was pretty squirmy in the appointment. We let him down and he walked up to her and put his hand on her leg and just looked at her. Then he pointed to her watch and said "clock!"
Brett had his first swimming lesson today. Rob got to come today since he had the day off. So I let the two of them in the water and captured Brett's first time in a pool! He was squealing he was so excited! He didn't want to get out. My friend Jacqueline and her little girl Annabeth are taking lessons with us as well.
Brett and I are also taking a Mommy and Me class at SPSCC. That starts tomorrow, I can't wait for a summer filled with fun things to do with our big boy!
Since summer is start to show up this week, I stopped by Toys R' Us and got a little pool. Can't wait to bust that sucker out in the next few days if the weather cooperates!
